Job description
You navigate safely between processes, data, and technology – and want to make automation and AI not just discuss, but make them effective in the daily routine of a large service company?
As Inhouse Consultant Automation & AI (m/w/d) in Essen, you analyze processes, decide technology-neutrally between workflow, RPA, and KI, and ensure that robust, secure, and economically sensible solutions emerge.
Why this role is exciting
- Lever: ca. 15,000 employees, >50 locations, high process density – every good automation solution has a direct impact on the ground.
- KI & Automation as a tool, not a self-purpose: Focus on lasting cost savings and competitive advantages.
- Strategic thinker sought: Mixture of conception, process understanding, and hands-on implementation – with the necessary calm and patience for changes in a large organization.

Implementation & Scaling
- Accompany the end-to-end implementation: from idea and proof-of-concept to regular operation.

- Praxis in process analysis and optimization, ideally in larger, decentralized organizations.
- Experience with automation solutions (RPA, workflow/BPM tools, low-code/no-code) and initial KI-based applications (e.g. document/text processing).
- Solid technical understanding; scripting/programming knowledge is a plus, but not a must.
- Calm, analytical personality with a sense of design: you think in business cases and effects – and like to get involved yourself.
