IT-Infrastruktur Projektmanager (m/w/d)

Full Time Lead

Job description

Your Tasks

We are looking for someone who manages projects not just accompanies them. Someone who takes responsibility and enjoys bringing different people together. You will support our team in Leipzig (with hybrid working possibilities and regular on-site visits) and take over the responsibility for infrastructure projects, guiding them from the initial idea to a successful conclusion.

You will work closely with the IT department, external partners, and departments to modernize our network, roll out Microsoft-365, or connect new locations. You will lead projects independently – from planning to implementation to handover in operation.

  • Bring different stakeholders together and ensure everyone is on the same page
  • Manage external service providers, solicit bids, and ensure that the agreed-upon quality is delivered
  • Maintain a clean handover with good documentation, so the team can work independently afterwards
  • What You Bring

You bring solid project experience and understand enough about IT infrastructure to ask the right questions and order solutions. More important than any certificate are your personal strengths:

    • You communicate sovereignly and on an equal level – whether with management or a technician on site
    • You bring things to a close – commitment is important, both to yourself and others
    • You keep the overview – even when multiple topics are on the table at once
    • You don't shy away from conflicts – if something isn't working, you address it and find solutions

    What You Bring Additionally:

    • At least 3 years of experience in leading IT projects (ideally in the infrastructure sector and experience in managing external service providers)
    • A good understanding of networks, servers, cloud services, and clients, as well as safe handling of project management tools (e.g. Asana, Jira)
    • Fluent German language skills and good English language skills
