Tasks
- Administration, maintenance, and further development of IT infrastructure (servers, networks, telecommunications and collaboration systems)
- Ensuring stable, secure, and high-performance IT operations as well as analysis and resolution of system and network disruptions
- Implementation and continuous development of IT security measures in accordance with company standards
- Support of Microsoft 365 and collaboration solutions in close cooperation with international specialist teams
- Planning, leadership, and participation in local and global IT infrastructure projects including project management, budget, and schedule monitoring
- Responsibility for User Lifecycle Management (Onboarding, Offboarding, Role and Authorization Management)
- Second-level support for end devices, telephony, printers, scanners, and video conferencing systems
- Management of the entire end device lifecycle from provision to decommissioning
- Management of software licenses and ensuring license compliance
- Collaboration with internal stakeholders, Centres of Excellence as well as external service providers and service partners
- Creation and maintenance of technical and project-related documentation
- Ensuring compliance with IT group standards, architectural guidelines, and strategic specifications
Qualification
- 3-year completed vocational training specific to the field and at least 2 years of further vocational training
- Experience in project work
- Good experience with collaboration solutions (preferably M365) and virtualization such as VMWare systems
- Good knowledge of TCP/IP networks, LAN/WAN, switches and routers, telephony solutions, IP phones, as well as cybersecurity instruments
- Strong problem-solving skills and team spirit
- Fluent German and very good English skills are mandatory
