IT Infrastructure & Security Engineer

Info Tech Solutions is expanding its technical team and is looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure & Security Engineer with practical experience in IT infrastructure, networking, servers, backup, and security.

We are looking for a hands-on individual, capable of administering, securing, and documenting company IT infrastructures and participating in modernization and standardization projects.

Responsibilities

• administration and monitoring of IT servers and services;
• administration of directory services, DNS, DHCP, and system policies;
• administration of virtualised infrastructures;
• configuration and administration of networks, firewalls, and VPN connections;
• network segmentation and implementation of access policies;
• configuration and security of Wi-Fi infrastructure;
• administration and verification of backup solutions;
• periodic execution of restore tests;
• participation in the implementation and testing of Disaster Recovery scenarios;
• administration of Microsoft 365 / cloud services and access policies;
• implementation and verification of patch management policies;
• hardening for servers, workstations, and network equipment;
• identification and remediation of vulnerabilities;
• inventory and auditing of equipment, workstations, servers, and licenses;
• standardization of configurations for users, workstations, and equipment;
• maintenance of updated technical documentation;
• participation in IT security audits and projects;
• contribution to defining and testing continuity requirements, including RTO and RPO.

Requirements

• minimum 3 years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure, networking, or systems engineering;
• good knowledge of Windows Server and infrastructure services;
• solid networking knowledge: TCP/IP, VLAN, routing, DNS, DHCP;
• experience with firewalls and VPNs;
• practical experience in backup and restore;
• experience with virtualisation;
• knowledge of Microsoft 365 and cloud services;
• basic/intermediate cybersecurity knowledge;
• good troubleshooting skills;
• ability to clearly document configurations and interventions performed.
