Essential Job Duties:
- Research, evaluate, and recommend networking hardware and software such as routers, switches, firewalls, remote access systems, and network management systems.
- Design, configure, or upgrade local/wide area networks (LAN/WAN/WLAN).
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve connection, reliability, or performance issues with little guidance from senior members of the team.
- Work within and assist with management of defined IT processes and procedures.
- Work with little to no supervision with latitude for independent judgment.
- Consult with senior peers on medium to complex projects.
- Assist in overseeing the primary activities of individual contributors (see above) to ensure completion of tasks and attainment of departmental goals.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
