IT Infrastructure Engineer-Networks

As a result, we are seeking an IT Infrastructure Engineer-Networks who will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining and troubleshooting our global network infrastructure. This includes: • Designing and implementing network architectures that meet business requirements; • Configuring and managing network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls and load balancers; • Troubleshooting and resolving network issues in a timely and efficient manner; • Collaborating with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of network infrastructure with other systems; • Developing and maintaining documentation for network architecture and configuration; • Staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in networking and IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field; • 3+ years of experience in designing, implementing, maintaining and troubleshooting network infrastructure; • Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP, FTP, SMTP, POP3, IMAP, SSL/TLS, SSH, and other relevant protocols; • Experience with network management tools such as CiscoWorks, HP OpenView or similar; • Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V; • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
