IT Finance Controller

Key Responsibilities

1. IT Budget Management

• Develop, track and review the annual and multi-year budget for the IT area, considering operational expenses (OPEX) and capital investments (CAPEX).
• Monitor budget execution, analyzing and reporting deviations between planned and actual results.
• Develop predictive analyses and financial scenarios, anticipating challenges and proposing adjustments to ensure compliance with established goals (Forecast).

2. Cost Analysis and Control

• Evaluate detailed costs related to supplier contracts, software licenses, system maintenance, and infrastructure.
• Identify and implement cost optimization strategies, promoting efficient use of financial resources.
• Ensure alignment between IT expenses and the organization's strategic priorities.

3. Contract and Provision Management

• Track contracts and their renewals, analyzing terms, indices (such as IGPM, IPCA, PTAX), and ensuring compliance with agreed-upon terms.
• Manage accounting provisions for IT services, ensuring correct allocation of resources in accounts and avoiding budget surprises.
• Audit contracts involving rate-based rules and detailed mapping of cost allocation by cost center and BU (cross-charging).

4. Budget Methodology Application

• Implement and apply the OBZ (Zero-Based Budgeting) methodology, focusing on rate-based rule mapping and prioritizing expenses.
• Be responsible for initiating and leading the implementation of the GMD (Matrix-Based Expense Management) methodology in the technology area.
• Review and update budget and forecast templates, consolidating financial data with precision and standardization.
• Generate and analyze accounting databases, such as ledger accounts, to support budget preparation and control.

5. Reports and Data Consolidation

• Use advanced tools like Power Query to process large data volumes, ensuring precision and standardization in reports.
• Create detailed dashboards and reports for stakeholders, presenting financial data clearly and objectively.
• Contribute to standardizing and treating financial data, ensuring consistency in analyses and projections.
