Cloud & Infrastructure Administrator / IT-Senior Expert (m/w/d)

Focal point: Infrastructure, Support & Cybersecurity

Your tasks:

• Planning, maintenance, and further development of the entire IT infrastructure (Azure, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, virtualization, network)
• Ensuring IT security, implementing protective measures, and continuously developing the cybersecurity strategy
• Ensuring smooth operation of hardware and software solutions
• Optimizing IT processes, technical systems, and digital applications
• Maintaining and coordinating external IT service providers
• Managing software licenses and IT resources
• Independent analysis and troubleshooting of disturbances in network-, server-, cloud- and workstation environments
• Carrying out and coordinating maintenance, updates, data migrations, and system upgrades
• Maintaining PCs, laptops, mobile devices, printers, scanners, and servers
• Technical support for employees and creating, editing, and tracking IT tickets
• Participating in IT and digitalization projects

You offer us:

• A completed education or degree in the field of computer science, IT system administration, or comparable qualification

• Multiple years of practical experience in the IT environment

• Good knowledge of:

  • Network technology: Cisco, Ubiquiti UniFi, Lenovo switches; VLAN structure, routing, DHCP/DNS/NPS services, VPN configuration, firewalls (Checkpoint, Netgate/pfSense)
  • Microsoft and Linux environments: Windows Server (AD, GPO, DNS/DHCP), Microsoft 365/Exchange Online, Entra ID; Linux administration (Ubuntu, SLES), shell scripting, systemd services
  • Server and client administration: VMware vSphere/ESXi, storage systems (Lenovo, Synology), patch management, endpoint management, hardware lifecycle, container technologies (Docker, Podman)
  • Cloud solutions: Microsoft Azure (VMs, storage, networking), Entra ID, Microsoft 365 administration, cloud backup/recovery (Veeam, Azure Backup), Atlassian (Jira, Confluence)
  • IT security and cybersecurity: endpoint security (Microsoft Defender, Checkpoint), firewall management, MFA/conditional access, monitoring & log analysis, basic vulnerability assessment

• Experience in collaboration with external IT service providers

• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style

• High level of service and user orientation

• Demonstrated analytical and logical thinking

• Able to transfer existing knowledge to new technologies and systems

• Hands-on mentality and pragmatic approach
