IT Enterprise Architect (m/w/d)

As IT Enterprise Architect (m/w/d), you will take on a central role as a staff office of the CIO.

You ensure that the advancing digitalization builds on a future-proof, integrated enterprise architecture and is in line with IT governance and IT service management.

Enterprise Architecture is being newly established at Umdasch Group – and you will shape this strategically technical function in the IT organization decisively: You will take over the EA theme content-wise, build it structurally and organizationally, and anchor it sustainably in the governance and decision-making processes of the corporate group.

Your focus lies on the management of the IT landscape plan, harmonization of our application and system landscape, and definition of an architecture blueprint that will create orientation for the further development of our IT landscape. You will lead the overarching Enterprise Architecture Board (EAB) and act as a link between CIO, CDO, and business process owners.

Your tasks

• Aktive Mitgestaltung der new strategically technical Enterprise-Architecture-function and the tasks and success criteria associated with it
• Responsible for the holistic architecture vision across all domains (Business, Data, Applications, Technology)
• Leadership of the Enterprise Architecture Boards (EAB) and thus close cooperation with the Digital Department to align the common IT- & Digital overall architecture
• Definition and governance of architecture principles, IT standards, and rules
• Analysis of new technologies and creation of strategic decision-making foundations for CIO and management
• Support for large transformation programs as a influential decision-maker, not as project leader
• Identification, initiation, and accompaniment of strategic modernization and consolidation projects
• Etablishment and maintenance of architecture blueprints and a consistent architecture glossary including modeling notation
