Focus MECM / SCCM and Active Directory

At PI Informatik, you will work on demanding infrastructure projects for customers from administration, industry and research. You will actively help shape modern Microsoft environments - from architecture to planning to technical implementation.

Tasks

Your technical focus

The focus of this position is on client management and identity-related Microsoft technologies.

MECM / SCCM (Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager):

• Technical planning and implementation of MECM infrastructures
• Software packaging and structured rollout concepts
• OS deployment and client lifecycle management
• Update management for server and client systems
• Analysis, optimization and further development of existing MECM/SCCM environments

Active Directory:

• Conception and further development of Active Directory structures
• Design and consolidation of GPO structures
• Structuring and hardening of complex AD domain landscapes
• Integration into hybrid scenarios (Active Directory / Azure AD / Entra ID)

Optional: Microsoft PKI

• Planning and expansion of certificate infrastructures
• Integration of PKI services into existing AD environments
• Support for migration or consolidation projects

Your tasks with us:

• Analysis of technical and organizational customer requirements
• Conception of resilient infrastructure and migration architectures
• Implementation of projects in on-premises and hybrid environments
• Technical consulting for IT departments at eye level
• Troubleshooting in established enterprise environments
• Documentation of architecture, configuration and operating concepts

You will work with us on a project basis in demanding customer environments - not in pure daily operations.

Qualification

Your profile

Are you interested in the tasks? Then this profile suits you well.

Ideally, you bring the following:

• Completed IT training, studies or comparable qualification
• Two to five years of practical experience in Microsoft infrastructure projects
• Very good knowledge of MECM / SCCM or Active Directory
• Confident handling of GPO structures and server-client architectures
• Analytical, structured and conceptual way of working
• Enjoyment of project work and direct customer communication
• Very good German language skills (C1)

Advantageous:

• Experience with on-premise or hybrid AD / Azure scenarios
• Knowledge in the field of Microsoft PKI
• PowerShell automation
• Microsoft certifications

Our focus is clearly on Microsoft infrastructure. However, if it makes architectural sense, we also integrate complementary technologies - for example, identity solutions like Keycloak.
For us, it's not ideology that matters, but technical quality and a clean architectural approach.
