u&u Recruitment Partners are excited to partner exclusively with Energy & Water Ombudsman NSW to hire their next Information Technology and Data Manager. You will act as a thought leader of new initiatives shaped by emerging technologies and business requirements. You will lead a small team and work with vendors and partners to support the implementation of strategic and operational technology plans. Your Responsibilities Lead the development of team and business unit plans to achieve strategic objectives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and priorities. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including IT vendors, partners, and internal teams. Collaborate with the leadership team to identify and prioritize IT projects and initiatives that drive business value. Provide technical guidance and support to ensure successful implementation of IT projects. Oversee the management of IT budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources and optimal use of technology investments. Foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and improvement within the IT department. Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and standards for IT operations, ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements. Provide expert advice on emerging technologies and trends to inform business decisions and drive strategic planning. Work closely with the data team to develop and implement data-driven solutions that drive business outcomes. Ensure the effective management of IT assets, including hardware, software, and infrastructure. Develop and maintain a comprehensive IT risk management framework to identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks. Provide technical support for IT projects and initiatives, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery. Collaborate with the organization's data analytics team to develop and implement data-driven solutions that drive business outcomes. Ensure the effective management of IT assets, including hardware, software, and infrastructure. Develop and maintain a comprehensive IT risk management framework to identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks. Provide technical support for IT projects and initiatives, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
