Job description

Ideal Candidate

  • Education required:
    • University degree in Economics/Informatics/Engineering
  • Minimum required experience:
    • Knowledge of data modeling and analysis - using database query tools (e.g. SQL, Java, C++, etc.) is an advantage
    • Demonstrable strategic thinking skills regarding business, products, technical challenges in a business environment
    • Good knowledge of the Romanian gas and electricity market (a plus, not mandatory)
  • IT Knowledge:
    • Very good knowledge of Office applications (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Access)
    • Data analysis
  • Foreign languages:
    • Good knowledge of English
    • Knowledge of German is an advantage
  • Others:
    • Inductive and deductive analysis, problem identification and information organization
    • Complex problem solving, system analysis and evaluation
    • Excellent communication (verbal and written), presentation, and documentation skills (preparing documentation e.g. technical specifications, feature presentations)

Job Description

  • Perform complex data analyses to support the company in developing new products and services and in implementing strategic projects for internal performance improvement, as well as in evaluating data quality, by identifying problems and recommending improvement solutions.
  • Ensure proactive evaluation and identification of data quality indicators to maintain the highest standards of overall data effectiveness, efficiency, and quality.
  • Collaborate with other teams and individuals within the company to develop comprehensive requirements for consolidating the company's strategic data.
  • Ensure the interpretation of data, the preparation of summaries of findings and observations, and their transmission in the form of presentations and reports. Integrate and ensure the correlation of data from different IT systems.
  • Identify data extraction methodologies and their alignment (mapping) with the requirements of different IT systems.
  • Ensure the transformation of data requirements, both internal and external, into a usable product with actionable results, based on the most credible and efficient data sources.
Perform other tasks that naturally arise from your role, adapted to your knowledge and skills
