IT-Controller (m/w/d) - Corporate Environment - Cologne

To strengthen the International IT department, I am looking for a further personality for my client – a renowned, internationally established financial services conglomerate with its headquarters in the heart of Cologne – an IT controller.

The team is currently being expanded, the position has been newly created and offers good opportunities for well-developing candidates to join a comprehensive IT environment.

Aufgaben

• Support and participation in the annual IT budget and forecast process in close cooperation with the departments and international units.
• Controlling of IT costs and investments at the corporate and country levels.
• Participation in cost calculations for IT projects, including maintenance and updating of the evaluation bases.
• Support in internal performance accounting, as well as in account settlement and processing.
• Preliminary and subsequent preparation of evaluations, decision-making grounds, and presentations for the IT management.
• Participation in the development of controlling and reporting tools, as well as creation of ad-hoc analyses.
• Optional – depending on experience: supportive activities in the IT project or portfolio environment (time, costs, quality).

Qualifikation

Your profile

• Degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a comparable business-related education with controlling relevance.
• First to several years of experience in controlling, ideally with IT reference.
• Basic understanding of IT structures and relationships.
• Familiarity with Excel, first experience with reporting tools an advantage.
• Experience with project management tools (e.g. Confluence, MS Project, etc.) desirable but not mandatory.
• Very good German and good English language skills.
• Structured, independent working style, as well as enthusiasm for numbers and analysis.

Please note: This position requires fluent German language skills (spoken and written), as German is the primary working language in this role. Applications without the required German proficiency cannot be considered.
