IT Consultant Collaboration & Open Source (m/f/d)

Do you excite people about modern collaboration? As an IT Consultant / IT Advisor at GECKO, you will support clients with openDesk, Nextcloud, and other collaboration solutions for greater digital independence. You understand requirements, develop suitable solutions with our tech team, and guide implementation projects. Programming or administration skills are not required for this.

Tasks

• You advise clients on digital collaboration with open-source solutions
• You conduct customer meetings and workshops and analyze requirements and workflows
• You guide implementation projects for openDesk, Nextcloud, and related platforms from idea to usage
• You translate functional requirements into solution concepts and coordinate them with technical specialists
• You support users and business units with organizational questions regarding digital working methods
• You work with project teams and keep an eye on goals and next steps
• You create concepts, presentations, and decision papers
• You build long-term customer relationships and identify opportunities for further development

Qualification

• Enjoy interacting with people and customer consulting

• Good sense for customer needs and suitable solution approaches
• Strong communication skills and confident presence in customer discussions and presentations
• Independent, structured, and reliable way of working
• Interest in digitalization, modern collaboration, and open source

• Practical experience in project management or the implementation of software and digital working methods
• Experience in sales or presales of solutions requiring detailed explanation
• First encounters with openDesk, Nextcloud, or comparable collaboration platforms
