IT Category Manager Place of work: Kraków Technologies we use Operating system Windows Your responsibilities Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive category strategies for various IT sub-categories (e.g., software, hardware, cloud services, telecommunications, IT consulting). Conduct market research and analysis to identify new technologies, suppliers, and sourcing opportunities, ensuring Hitachi remains competitive and innovative in its IT procurement. Lead the entire sourcing lifecycle, including request for information (RFI), request for proposal (RFP), and request for quotation (RFQ) processes. Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to ensure alignment of category strategies with business objectives. Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and partners to drive innovation and cost savings. Analyze and report on category performance, identifying areas for improvement and opportunities for growth. Ensure compliance with Hitachi's procurement policies and procedures. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
