IT & Business Systems Developer

Minimum Requirements: * University studies completed in computer science, automation, computers, engineering, cybernetics, information systems, or a similar field. * Relevant experience of at least 4 years in software development, business application administration, system integration, or a technical role with similar responsibilities. * Practical experience in developing and maintaining web applications; the ability to take over, understand, modify, test, and document existing source code. * Solid knowledge of relational databases and SQL: modeling, querying, optimization, backup, restore, access control, and performance issue investigation. * Experience with REST APIs, application integration, and data exchange between ERP, WMS, CRM, e-commerce platforms, external services, and internal applications. * Experience using source code versioning systems, managing development branches, reviewing changes, versioning configurations, and ensuring traceability of releases. * Knowledge regarding the separation of development, testing, and production environments, the deployment process, error logging, application monitoring, and incident resolution. * Practical knowledge of administering a cloud productivity and collaboration suite, accounts, licenses, groups, access rights, document management, and basic identity security policies. * Knowledge of administering workstations, local networks, Wi-Fi, VPNs, printers, mobile terminals, and peripherals. * Understanding of cybersecurity principles: multi-factor authentication, least privilege, patch management, endpoint protection, backup, recovery, and incident response. * Experience with ERP, WMS, CRM systems, business intelligence and reporting tools, automation platforms, e-commerce, and cloud services is an advantage. * Ability to understand and optimize logistics, commercial, financial, and operational processes. * Very good analysis, diagnosis, prioritization, and structured problem-solving skills. * Good communication skills with non-technical users, management, and external suppliers. * Integrity, discretion, and responsibility in managing source code, credentials, commercial data, personal data, and confidential information. * English language – intermediate or advanced level, sufficient for technical documentation, communication with suppliers, and incident investigation. Purpose of the Position: The IT & Business Systems Developer ensures the development, stability, security, and integration of the company's digital ecosystem, with the primary responsibility of technical takeover, maintenance, and development of internal business applications. The position directly contributes to process automation, business system integration, reduction of manual operations, improvement of data quality, and resolution of current IT problems. A. Development and maintenance of internal business applications: * Taking over and understanding the architecture, source code, databases, dependencies, configurations, environments, and functional flows of internal applications. * Developing new functionalities, correcting errors, and adapting applications to processes approved by management. * Analyzing department requests, clarifying business requirements, and transforming them into technical solutions. * Ensuring source code versioning, maintaining change history, and traceability of modifications and releases. * Maintaining separate development, testing, and production environments. * Preparing test scenarios, performing technical testing, and coordinating functional testing with involved users. * Implementing logging, monitoring, and alerting mechanisms and investigating the causes of recurring incidents. * Documenting modules, flows, configurations, database structure, integrations, and technical procedures. * Ensuring documentation and controlled storage of source code, administrative credentials, and backups. * Building and maintaining a prioritized list of errors, improvements, and developments. B. System integration and process automation: * Analyzing data flows between internal applications, business systems, commercial platforms, logistics systems, and external services used by the company. * Developing and maintaining integrations through APIs, services, exchange files, databases, or other approved mechanisms. * Automating repetitive activities and controls that reduce manual work time and error risk. * Implementing validation, reconciliation, and alerting mechanisms for data transferred between systems. * Identifying single points of failure and proposing measures to increase operational continuity. * Evaluating integration and automation requests based on impact, cost, security, maintainability, and business priority. * Technical coordination of external suppliers and verification of deliverables, documentation, tests, and adherence to established requirements. C. Databases, reporting, and management tools: * Administering databases within the area of responsibility, access rights, backup and restore procedures, and monitoring capacity and performance. * Developing queries, procedures, exports, and datasets necessary for applications and reporting. * Building or supporting the development of reports and dashboards in analysis and reporting tools. * Ensuring the unified definition of indicators used in reports and identifying differences between data sources. * Implementing controls for data quality, completeness, uniqueness, and consistency. * Restricting data access according to roles, business needs, and internal approvals. * Identifying opportunities for automating data collection, processing, and reporting. D. Infrastructure, security, and IT support: * Ensuring the operation of workstations, accounts, applications, local network, secure connections, printers, mobile terminals, and other IT equipment. * Diagnosing and resolving common hardware, software, access, connectivity, and peripheral incidents. * Administering the life cycle of accounts and access: creation, modification, suspension, and closing, according to internal requests and approvals. * Maintaining an inventory of equipment, licenses, configurations, and warranties. * Planning and tracking critical updates, equipment protection, backups, and operational continuity measures. * Monitoring the availability of critical services and escalating incidents with significant impact. * Administering users, groups, licenses, and applicable policies in the systems within the area of responsibility. * Applying the principle of least privilege and periodically reviewing privileged rights. * Ensuring the use of multi-factor authentication and proposing measures to increase the security of identities, devices, and data. * Defining and testing backup, restore, and recovery procedures. * Investigating security incidents, preserving relevant information, and escalating situations impacting data or business continuity. * Developing user instructions and providing necessary support for the correct and safe use of systems. E. Artificial intelligence, digitalization, and continuous improvement: * Identifying controlled uses of artificial intelligence tools and automations that can increase productivity or process quality. * Evaluating data sources, access rights, confidentiality, and risks before implementing artificial intelligence solutions. * Developing prototypes and pilot tests in controlled environments and documenting results, limitations, and costs. * Identifying repetitive processes that can be simplified, standardized, or automated. * Proposing digitalization solutions based on the real problems and needs of the departments. * Measuring the results of digitalization projects through indicators such as time saved, error reduction, availability, usage rate, and total cost. * Participating in the development and continuous improvement of the company's IT architecture and business systems.
