IT Business Analyst – Finance & Banking
Job description
As part of the reinforcement of our DWIT division – the Business Line dedicated to IT Consulting at eGlue – we are seeking an IT Business Analyst – Finance & Banking.
Work Location: Reggio Emilia, 50% hybrid.
Contract: Up to €45,000 gross annual salary (RAL), permanent employment with a Metalworking CCNL contract. The offer includes a variable component tied to objective achievement of 10% of RAL, meal vouchers of €6.50 per working day, €250 Welfare, and Health Insurance covering the family unit.
The ideal candidate has gained solid vertical experience on Internet Banking platforms and on the Web channel.
The role is designed as a link between the business (Product Owner) and the IT development teams, thus dealing with requirements gathering, drafting functional specifications, and monitoring the entire software lifecycle.
Responsibilities and Activities
- Gathering, analyzing, and formalizing business requirements from stakeholders;
- Drafting detailed technical and functional documentation (Use Cases, Functional Specification Document, User Stories);
- Analyzing processes and information flows related to Internet Banking web portals (e.g., transaction initiation areas, information areas, authentication systems, strong authentication/SCA);
- Constant interface with the development team (Front-End/Back-End) and architecture team to verify the technical feasibility of proposed solutions;
- Defining test plans, preparing test cases, and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities;
- Monitoring project progress and managing change management.
What to bring:
- Proven professional experience in the role of Functional Analyst within the Banking / Fintech sector;
- Specialist competence in the Internet Banking / Corporate Banking / Retail Banking for Web channels domain;
- In-depth knowledge of banking logic and regulations applied to the web (e.g., PSD2, security standards, SEPA flows, payment modules);
- Excellent ability to draft structured functional specifications and process modeling;
- Familiarity with ALM tools and requirements traceability.
Complements the profile:
- Basic technical knowledge of modern web architectures (REST/SOAP API integration, JSON/XML data flows);
- Work experience in contexts governed by Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban);
- Previous background in functional testing activities or support for the go-live of high-traffic web platforms.
