IT Business Analysis Expert (Application Expert)

Job Title: IT Business Analysis Expert Department: Digital Solutions Reports To: Solutions Support and Delivery Manager Location: Mumbai Employment Type: Full-Time Job description: Summary The IT Business Analysis Expert is responsible for supporting and driving the evolution of Maritime ERP applications across the organization. This role includes providing day-to-day technical support, managing and resolving incidents, analysing application issues, and collaborating closely with business stakeholders to identify and prioritize requirements. Key responsibilities: • Provide technical expertise in the analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation of Maritime ERP applications. • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet those needs. • Analyse and troubleshoot application issues, identifying root causes and developing corrective actions. • Develop and maintain documentation for Maritime ERP applications, including user guides, technical specifications, and release notes. • Participate in the development of the overall IT strategy and roadmap for Maritime ERP applications. • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. • 5+ years of experience in business analysis, application support, or a related field. • Strong understanding of Maritime ERP applications and their integration with other systems. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects. • Experience with Agile methodologies and version control systems such as Git. • Certification in business analysis or a related field is desirable.
