For our customer in the eastern part of Munich, we are currently looking for a skilled IT application specialist (m/w/d) on a permanent basis. In this versatile role, you are responsible for the maintenance and further development of our operational applications – from cash register systems to banquet software and event management solutions. You act both operationally and strategically and are the central point of contact for our internal users, companies and external partners.
Aufgaben
WHAT IT'S ABOUT
Operational:
- Betrayal and First-level Support of our cash register systems, banquet & event software
- Support in the digital implementation of events, large-scale events (e.g. Oktoberfest tent) and operational operation
- Maintenance, error analysis and correction of our business applications
- Conducting user training and training measures
- Dokumentation & maintenance of system processes and user instructions
- Collection, cleaning and maintenance of master data
Strategic:
- Analyzing and improving existing business processes in collaboration with the operational companies and departments
- Further development of the master data organization and maintenance
- Participation in the implementation and optimization of interfaces between systems
- Support in selecting and introducing new software and tools
- Improving communication & professional exchange between IT and operational companies
Qualification
WHAT YOU BRING
- Completed training as a merchant for IT system management, IT system integration, hotel/gastronomy with high IT affinity.
- Study in the relevant field desired
- Multiple years of practical experience in the hotel, gastronomy or event industry
- Fundamental experience with cash register & order systems, banquet & event software, and reservation systems
- High affinity for IT/software paired with an understanding of operational companies and processes
- Excellent communication skills and pleasure in dealing with users
- Structured working style, high self-initiative and team spirit
- Knowledge of data handling and interface management is advantageous
- Good resilience, flexibility and travel readiness
- Driver's license class B
- English language skills are an advantage
