IT Application & Support Specialist

For one of our client companies, operating in the manufacturing sector, located in the province of Padua, we are looking for an IT Application & Support Specialist.

The figure will be integrated into the company's IT department with the objective of ensuring the proper functioning of the applications used by the various companies and different plants of the Group.

We are looking for a technical and operational person, with a good knowledge of SQL, capable of analyzing application issues, supporting users, and effectively interfacing with external stakeholders (e.g., software houses).

Main Responsibilities

The person will be responsible for:

• Providing help desk support to users of the Group's various companies and locations;
• Collecting, analyzing, and managing reports related to company applications;
• Performing troubleshooting activities, identifying the possible origin of anomalies;
• Using SQL to query databases, verify data correctness, perform extractions, and support problem resolution;
• Managing and supporting the various software used in the company, including the MES CyberPlan, the configurator, the dedicated quoting program, and other applications developed by different suppliers;
• Directly intervening in problems that can be resolved internally;
• Technically describing and circumscribing anomalies clearly, facilitating the intervention of external developers;
• Preparing and updating documentation related to applications, procedures, and recurring problems.

Requirements

• IT or technical diploma, or equivalent experience gained in the field;
• Experience in application support activities, technical help desk, or management software assistance;
• Good knowledge of SQL and autonomy in writing queries;
• Knowledge of relational databases;
• Ability to perform data extractions, controls, and checks;
• Understanding of main programming logic and software application functionality;
• Ability to analyze and circumscribe technical problems before involving the supplier;
• Familiarity in managing relationships with software houses and external partners;
• Availability to provide support to the Group's various companies and plants.
