In the coming years, the University Hospital Cologne is focusing on the strategic further development of its IT infrastructure. Your ideas and expertise are in demand in this challenging and dynamic environment!

• Parameterization, configuration, and further development of forms in the KAS ORBIS hospital information system and integration into workflows
• Analysis of functional and technical requirements and implementation of tailor-made form solutions, including associated workflows
• Ensuring data integrity, system stability, and compliance with defined quality standards
• Planning, execution, and documentation of functional tests, as well as support in error analysis and resolution
• Conducting user training and creating training and documentation materials for handling forms in workflows
• Close collaboration with specialist departments, key users, and interdisciplinary teams for the continuous improvement of digital processes

• Successfully completed degree in Computer Science, Medical Informatics, Business Informatics, Health Economics, or a comparable qualification. Good knowledge in the IT environment
• Strong understanding of clinical processes and their digital representation in information systems
• Experience in the administration, configuration, or further development of hospital information systems
• Knowledge in form parameterization, workflow configuration, and customizing IT applications, ideally KAS ORBIS
• Experience in analyzing and implementing functional requirements, as well as in conducting tests and quality assurance measures
• Understanding of data structures, data integrity, and IT system interdependencies
• Confident interaction with users and enjoyment of conducting training and workshops
• Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented approach with a high level of quality awareness
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, as well as enjoyment of collaborating in interdisciplinary teams
• Very good German language skills in spoken and written form
