IT Application Manager (m/f/d)

Tasks

▪ Responsibility for the definition and implementation of global application management processes (e.g., lifecycle and patch management) as well as ensuring efficient and secure execution.
▪ Development of policies for secure application operation, management of the provision of templates for operational and security concepts, and active support of business units in their implementation and compliance with compliance requirements.
▪ Harmonization of the software landscape as well as management of approval processes for new applications, taking into account functional and security requirements.
▪ Central coordination of collaboration between business units, Cyber Security, and IT service providers.
▪ Identification and implementation of automation and optimization potentials for continuous improvement of system resilience and performance.

Qualifications

▪ Completed relevant degree or equivalent qualification as well as several years of experience in application management or IT process management.
▪ Strong analytical thinking for harmonizing complex application landscapes, recognizing dependencies, and making well-founded decisions in a portfolio environment.
▪ In-depth knowledge of the ITIL framework, experience in setting up governance structures, and a good understanding of common IT process standards.
▪ Experience in managing external IT service providers and willingness to provide consulting support to business units, e.g., in the creation of operational and security concepts.
▪ Confident demeanor and the ability to constructively and assertively communicate governance and security topics at all stakeholder levels.
▪ Very good German language skills and the confidence to express yourself clearly and professionally at a B2 level.
