IT Application Engineer - MES/LIMS (m|w|d)

As Application Expert, you will be responsible for application support of our self-developed MES-LIMS solutions based on Linux, PostgreSQL and Kubernetes. You will take over global maintenance and support of these systems and drive the planning, coordination, implementation and optimization of our service processes forward.

• Evaluation of production requirements together with the Product/Service Owner, development of suitable IT solutions for the MES-LIMS system; participation in projects introducing new applications and organization of handover from the development team to IT operations.
• Global responsibility for operation, maintenance, error correction and continuous development of the MES-LIMS environment including infrastructure, middleware, interfaces, stability and operational safety.
• Ensuring smooth operation according to ITIL standards, coordination of external support service providers, establishment, maintenance and training of an international (key-)user network (remote & on-site).
• Planning and execution of integration, performance and regression tests, creation of standardized and customer-specific reports, and execution of quality, security and integrity controls.
• Maintenance of solution and operation manuals, support for all validation activities, and leadership of cross-functional teams and close cooperation with national and international stakeholders.
