The focus lies in trading office chairs, TV sofas, and desks produced and purchased in Asia.

Aufgaben

Your tasks: IT at the heart of logistics

As an IT Application Manager (m/w/d), you are the important interface between users, IT, and software manufacturers. Your activities include:

• Betreuung & Entwicklung of our central software solutions:
  • Configurable warehouse and tour planning software (Wanko)
  • Data conversion software (Lobster)
  • Archiving software (EASY Archiv)
• Prozessoptimierung: Analysis, optimization, and digitalization of existing processes in close cooperation with the departments.
• Anwender-Support: Consulting and support for users in the departments.
• Reporting: Creation of reports based on Crystal Reports.
• Projektmanagement: Coordination of software updates, tests, and release changes as well as support for IT projects and system implementations.
• Dokumentation: Creation and maintenance of documentation, workflows, and evaluations.

Qualifikation

Your qualification: What you bring with you

• Ausbildung: A completed education in the IT sector (e.g. computer scientist, IT systems manager) or a comparable qualification.
• Erfahrung: Professional experience in IT application management, preferably in a logistics or transportation company.
• Logistik-Know-how: Understanding of business processes in transport and logistics.
• Datenbanken: A deep understanding of databases, especially SQL
• Software: Good knowledge of shipping software (ideally Wanko) as well as knowledge of Lobster, EASY Archiv, and Crystal Reports is advantageous
• Persönlichkeit: Analytical thinking, high service orientation, and communicative strength.
• Arbeitsweise: You work independently, structured, and solution-oriented.
