IT Analyst

Primary Responsibilities and Duties (80%) Monitor and support LIS systems and applications (eg. Maintain system, troubleshoot & track errors, provide solutions on laboratory problems) Review, revise and optimise LIS functions & applications to meet objectives of the department Participate in system upgrades and implementations (eg. System validation, testing, documentation) Assist in administering department's servers, workstation and printers in the LAN environment Provide simple hardware / software support for users as needed Collaborate with other IT staff members to resolve technical issues and improve overall IT operations Support the development and implementation of new technologies and processes within the department Perform routine maintenance tasks such as backups, updates, and virus scans Assist in planning and implementing departmental projects and initiatives Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operation of systems and applications Provide excellent customer service to users by responding promptly to requests for assistance and resolving issues efficiently and effectively
