IT Analyst - Asset Management (Aladdin)

We are seeking a Business Analyst/ Data Analyst with a strong background in trading system, data integration, and end-to-end project delivery to support our Asset Management client in their data integration and business transformation initiative. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with strong communication skills as you will act as a key liaison between technology teams, vendors, and the front-to-back business, driving impactful solutions that will improve operational efficiency and support strategic platform upgrades and migration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the implementation and integration of the Aladdin platforms, including data mapping between legacy systems and Aladdin
• Lead business analysis activities across complex, cross-functional projects involving trading platforms, reconciliation systems, and regulatory enhancement
• Support the implementation of syndicated loan systems, including vendor coordination, integration planning, user training, and evaluation of cloud vs. on-prem solutions
• Manage data integration efforts with BlackRock Aladdin, mapping and transforming transactional and security reference data from in-house systems into Aladdin
• Participate in the BlackRock Aladdin migration, overseeing UAT, STP workflows, and integrations with middle-office and settlement systems
• Conduct gap analysis, identify inefficiencies, and recommend robust data and process solutions
• Engage with business stakeholders, portfolio managers, risk, compliance, and operations teams to gather requirements and translate them into clear functional and technical specifications
• Design and maintain JIRA boards to track project issues, manage enhancements, and generate executive-level reporting and analytics

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of business analysis experience in asset management, investment banking, or a similar financial services domain
• Proven experience with BlackRock Aladdin implementation and data integration projects
• Strong analytic skills with experience in data mapping, process modelling, and documenting business and technical work flows
• Excellent stakeholder management skills - ability to translate complex requirements between business, technology, and vendor teams
• Experience with Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and Waterfall project delivery methodologies
• Proficient in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Excel; knowledge of SQL is a plus
