IT All-Rounder (m/f/d) as Administrator for School IT

Since 2005, Freie Aktive Schulen Wülfrath gGmbH has been offering in Wülfrath in the Mettmann district, with its three educational institutions, the "Freie Aktive Kita", the "Freie Aktive Grundschule" and the "Freie Aktive Gesamtschule", the opportunity for individualized support for currently approx. 380 children aged 2 to 19 years with and without special needs, based on the principles of Montessori pedagogy.

Freie Aktive Schulen Wülfrath currently employs approx. 100 staff members who work in the pedagogical teams and service departments. Tasks

• Support and administration of our entire IT equipment (network, servers, clients)
• Independent development of solutions in the IT environment
• Support for staff members with IT questions regarding software and hardware
• Analysis and resolution of faults
• Collaboration with students and educators on various projects

Qualification

• Training as an IT specialist for system integration or a comparable qualification
• Ideally, organizational skills with a desire to shape the IT environment and processes
• Very good knowledge of Windows workstation (PCs, laptops, tablet PCs, printers, etc.) and server systems (Win 2019 and 2022, Active Directory, virtualization based on HYPER-V or similar)
• Practical knowledge in troubleshooting Windows operating systems
• Ideally, good knowledge of the administration and configuration of the Microsoft Office 365 and Azure business environment
• Basic knowledge of network technology (WAN, VLAN, VPN, etc.) is welcome
• Fluent German language skills
• Convinced team player
