IT Administrator (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

• Support, administration, and optimization of our IT infrastructure (servers, clients, network, and storage solutions)

• Management and further development of the VMware virtualization environment

• Control and maintenance of our NetApp storage systems

• Ensuring network security and firewall administration using OPNsense

• Administration of the Windows Server landscape (Server 2016 – 2025) as well as support of Windows clients

• Management and support of Exchange On-Premises and Microsoft 365 cloud environments (hybrid setup)

• Support and maintenance of MS SQL Server databases

• Automation of administrative tasks and processes using PowerShell scripting

• Administration and configuration of UniFi telephone systems (UniFi Talk / VoIP) and network components

• Central management and deployment of IGEL ThinClients

• Analysis and resolution of issues in 2nd level support and user support

• Participation in IT projects for the modernization and expansion of the system landscape

Your Profile     

• Successfully completed training in the IT sector (e.g., IT specialist for system integration), a comparable degree, or a corresponding qualification

• Several years of proven professional experience in IT system administration

• Sound practical knowledge in several of the following areas:

  • Virtualization with VMware

  • Storage solutions from NetApp

  • Firewall and network administration with OPNsense

  • Windows Server (versions 2016 to 2025) and Windows desktop operating systems

  • Exchange On-Premises and Microsoft 365 / Cloud Services

  • Administration of MS SQL Servers

  • Automation / scripting with PowerShell

  • Management of UniFi telephone systems / VoIP

  • Client management with IGEL ThinClients

• High quality and security awareness

• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working

• Very good German language skills, both written and spoken
