IT-Administrator (m/w/d) Focus on Infrastructure & DevOps

My client is a specialized IT engineering and consulting company from Munich and operates complex IT infrastructures for demanding customers. The focus lies on tailored solutions in the areas of DevOps, Cloud, Automation, and Security – from planning to operation.

You will not work in a ticket system, but on real technical challenges.

Tasks

You are responsible for the operation, further development, and debugging of complex IT infrastructures. You will move safely between network, server, virtualization, and automation.

• Operation and further development of complex IT infrastructures (On-Premise / Hybrid)
• Deep Troubleshooting & Debugging on system, network, and application level
• Analysis and resolution of network problems (including fault diagnosis at the switch level)
• Administration of Linux- and Windows-Server
• Setup and operation of Virtualization environments (VMware, Proxmox)
• Implementation and optimization of Automation solutions
• Care and further development of Network- and Security-Infrastructures
• Work with Open-Source-Technologies in productive environments
• Participation in structured ITIL processes (Incident / Problem / Change Management)

Qualification

You are not just an administrator, but a technically strong problem solver, who understands and masters complex systems. You are also familiar with the following topics, or have interest in getting involved and further developing them.

• Network technology (Routing, Switching, Troubleshooting)
• Network debugging and fault analysis on switches
• Linux Server and Windows Server
• Virtualization (VMware, Proxmox)
• Operation and design of complex IT infrastructures
• Experience in debugging on multiple levels (Network, System, Application)
• Safe handling of Open-Source-Technologies
• Knowledge in ITIL processes
• Ability to develop automations (e.g. scripting)
• OPNsense / Open-Source-Firewalls
• Cisco Firewalls
• Juniper Firewalls
• Understanding of security concepts and network architectures
• Knowledge in physical infrastructure and cabling
• Ability to identify errors on hardware and network level
