Job description

As IT-Administrator (m/w/d), you are responsible for reliably maintaining, monitoring, and further developing the hardware and software landscape, network, and server infrastructure. You support national and international colleagues with IT-related questions, analyze disturbances, and efficiently resolve technical problems. You document solutions carefully and actively participate in local and global IT projects.

Tasks

  • Surety of stable IT operations through professional handling of IT inquiries, including prioritization, evaluation, and complete documentation on an international and national level
  • Closely coordinating with users, internal teams, and external service providers to efficiently find solutions for network problems
  • Setting up, configuring, installing, and managing hardware and software as well as network components and servers
  • Planning, controlling, and supporting IT projects
  • Ongoing maintenance, updating, and optimizing the internal IT documentation

Qualification

  • SUCCESSFUL completion of an IT training program or a study with an IT focus
  • Multiple years of professional experience in IT administration
  • Very good knowledge of the Microsoft environment (Office365), as well as fundamental knowledge in the field of network management, hardware maintenance and installation
  • Strong analytical thinking and structured, service-oriented work style
  • Competence in independently solving complex IT problems
  • Excellent communication skills and team ability, as well as professional appearance
