IT-Administrator (m/w/d)

DEFINET offers a comprehensive service for financial advisory firms. With around 70 employees at our Eschborn & Hannover locations, we take care of all backoffice topics related to sales support, processing, and IT for our customers.

We offer our partners a holistic product portfolio: insurance, investments, financing, real estate, assets, and more. Our highly qualified experts support financial advisors completely independently.

Aufgaben

• Betrieb, Überwachung und Weiterentwicklung der IT-Infrastruktur (Server, Clients, Netzwerk, Firewall)
• Administration von Windows- und Linux-Systemen
• Verwaltung von Benutzerkonten, Berechtigungen und Gruppen (z. B. Active Directory, Azure AD)
• Betreuung des 1st- und 2nd-Level-Supports inkl. Analyse und Behebung von Störungen
• Installation, Konfiguration und Wartung von Hard- und Software
• Mitarbeit bei IT-Projekten, z. B. Rollouts, Migrationen, Automatisierungen
• Administration von Cloud- und Hybrid-Umgebungen (z. B. Microsoft 365, Azure)
• Umsetzung von IT-Sicherheitsmaßnahmen, Patch- und Backup-Konzepten
• Pflege von IT-Dokumentationen und Betriebshandbüchern
• Zusammenarbeit mit internen Fachabteilungen und externen IT-Dienstleistern

Qualifikation

• Completed IT training (e.g. System Integration Technician) or comparable qualification

• Multiple years of experience in system and network administration

• Very good knowledge in:

• Windows Server & Client operating systems

• Azure AD / Entra

• Network technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)

• Good knowledge of Azure environments is advantageous

• Experience with virtualization (e.g. AVD)

• Knowledge of cloud services (Microsoft 365, Azure) is desirable

• Basic understanding of IT security, backup, and monitoring solutions

• Structured, reliable, and service-oriented work style

• Teamwork and communication skills

• Very good German and good English language skills
