IT-Administrator (m/w/d)

The AVS Services GmbH has its headquarters in Leverkusen. The AVS is a leading provider of traffic safety solutions in Germany and specializes in traffic safety and traffic management on construction sites on highways, federal and expressways, as well as for urban traffic networks. With years of experience in planning and implementing temporary traffic safety measures and a team of highly qualified professionals, the safety of people and an efficient traffic flow in the area of road construction sites is the focus of our daily actions.

With over 1,000 experienced professionals and specialists, the AVS ensures that construction sites are optimally secured across Germany.

We are looking for a new IT Administrator (m/w/d) to join our team at our location in Leverkusen.

WE NEED YOU FOR

• Optimization and administration of the existing cloud-based IT infrastructure, particularly Microsoft SharePoint / Microsoft 365, MS Azure
• Concept and technical implementation of SharePoint / Microsoft 365 projects, such as tenant migration, and projects to optimize client infrastructure (including domain management)
• Support for users and administration of the helpdesk system
• Setup and monitoring of interfaces to the company-wide ERP like SharePoint interfaces
• Maintenance and further development of security systems (e.g. rule sets, security guidelines)
• Introduction and administrative support for specialized applications
• Conducting process analyses and creating process and user documentation
• Maintenance of server and network infrastructure and application landscape
• Ensuring the proper operation of infrastructure and hosted applications
• Point of contact for all IT-related questions in the PC hardware and software area
• Installation of PCs, notebooks, tablets, printers, and other peripheral devices

YOU NEED

• A successful degree in (business) informatics or a successful vocational training (e.g. IT system administrator, IT system manager, etc.) with a focus on IT, or a similar training with a focus on IT
• 3-4 years of professional experience in a similar position (e.g. IT administrator, IT specialist, etc.)
• General IT knowledge, particularly in the area of Microsoft SharePoint / Microsoft 365 and client management
• Safe handling of MS Office programs and MS client systems
• First experience with ERP systems like MS365BC and cloud-based data centers is advantageous
• High flexibility and enthusiasm for new ideas and technologies
• A strong team and communication skills
