You will ensure that critical business data is always protected, available, and reliably restorable. Aufgaben

• You will ensure the smooth operation of our data security and data management solutions and develop tailored backup and recovery concepts for applications as well as cloud services.
• You will administer and document the backup environment, configure clients, identify vulnerabilities, and implement targeted optimization measures.
• In close cooperation with manufacturers, you will support troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
• You will actively drive the development of the platform forward through automation, process optimization, and integration of self-service solutions.
• You will support your team in planned service and maintenance deployments and participate in on-call duty.

Qualifikation

• You hold a completed degree in computer science or equivalent IT training.
• A minimum of three years of professional experience in operating and developing enterprise backup environments.
• You already have fundamental knowledge in data security for Windows- and RedHat-based systems, as well as ideally experience with virtual environments, particularly VMware.
