We are looking to strengthen our IT team within our corporate group by recruiting a dedicated person in the field of IT support and system administration for fino taxtech GmbH.

fino taxtech GmbH is an innovative software company with its headquarters in Kassel, specializing in digitalizing tax processes and developing modern SaaS solutions for tax consultants and companies.

In this role, you will be the central point of contact for the employees of fino taxtech GmbH regarding technical issues and contribute significantly to the stability, security, and further development of the IT infrastructure. You will work in a modern, predominantly Windows-based environment with cloud connections (particularly AWS) and support both operational IT operations and infrastructure and digitalization projects.

Aufgaben

• Benutzerunterstützung und Fehlerbehebung: Support for IT problems in daily business, diagnosis and correction of hardware and software errors, as well as support for users in a predominantly Windows-based environment with individual macOS devices.
• Installation und Konfiguration: Installation and configuration of PCs, laptops, and peripheral devices (e.g. printers). Setting up user accounts in Microsoft Active Directory and Entra ID, software installations, and conducting updates via Action1.
• Netzwerkmanagement: Management and monitoring of the network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, VPN) as well as support for error analysis and troubleshooting. Maintenance of AWS network components (VPC, Route 53, ELB).
• Server-Management, Monitoring und Backup-Management: Administration and monitoring of AWS-based server landscape (EC2, S3, RDS, ElastiCache with Valkey and Redis, ELB, Lambda), continuous monitoring to ensure stability and performance as well as management and control of backup and restoration systems. Participation in the maintenance and development of infrastructure over Terraform (Infrastructure as Code) as well as support for containerized workloads (Docker).
• Datensicherung und Wiederherstellung: Conducting and monitoring regular backups as well as participating in disaster recovery concepts and data restoration. Maintenance of cloud-based storage solutions (particularly AWS S3).
• Sicherheitsmanagement: Support for implementing IT security measures, management of antivirus solutions and firewalls as well as sensitization of employees to IT security. Participation in securing cloud-based systems, particularly management of permissions over AWS IAM in the server area as well as identity management for employees through Microsoft Active Directory and Entra ID.
• Dokumentation und Berichterstattung: Documentation of IT systems, processes, and changes as well as maintenance of a knowledge database and creation of reports.
• Schulung und Weiterbildung: Conducting user training on IT systems, new applications, and security guidelines.
• Hardwarewartung und -reparatur: Maintenance, replacement, and error correction of IT hardware as well as monitoring the technical infrastructure and handling warranty and service cases.
• Projektunterstützung: Participation in IT projects, support for rolling out new systems, and close cooperation with departmental teams and external service providers. Support for cloud-based infrastructure projects based on AWS and Terraform.
• Helpdesk-Management: Acceptance, prioritization, and processing of support tickets in Jira as well as escalation of complex errors and ensuring a quick problem solution.

Qualifikation

• Completed IT training or comparable qualification
• Experience in IT support (1st & 2nd Level) and user support
• Good knowledge of Windows environments, basic knowledge of macOS
• Experience with Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID (user and rights management)
• Knowledge in installation, configuration, and maintenance of clients and peripherals
• Basic knowledge of networks (LAN, WAN, VPN) as well as error analysis
• Experience withAWS (e.g. EC2, S3, VPC)
• Knowledge in backup, monitoring, and IT security (IAM, antivirus, firewalls)
• Ideal experience with Terraform and Docker
• Structured working style, team ability, and service orientation
• Experience with ticket systems (e.g. Jira) and documentation
