Job description
Projektron GmbH develops and distributes the web-based project management software BCS. More than 130 employees at five locations in Germany ensure support for our over 820 customers across Europe, as well as the continuous further development of our software.
Starting immediately, we are looking for an employee for our IT Administration at our headquarters in Berlin, either part-time or full-time.
Responsibilities
Support for over 130 employees across five locations in Germany
IT Environment: Modern infrastructure with multiple VM clusters (over 230 VMs, Windows/Linux) connected to a SAN infrastructure
Planning, deployment, operation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, IT services, and systems
Ensuring the smooth operation of the IT infrastructure and services
Ensuring IT security
Evaluation, configuration, and implementation of system extensions to cover new requirements
Organization of IT procurement as well as supplier and resource management
Qualifications
Good degree in an IT-related field or comparable training
Professional experience in system/network administration
Technical knowledge in the following areas:
Windows or Linux Servers (Ubuntu)
Web Services (Apache, IIS)
Mail Services (MS Exchange, Postfix)
IP in LAN and WAN, DHCP & DNS
Network & System Management (Nagios, SNMP)
Experience in virtualization (VMware)
