IT Administration

Projektron GmbH develops and distributes the web-based project management software Projektron BCS. More than 130 employees at five locations in Germany ensure the continuous further development of our software and support our over 820 customers across Europe.

Effective immediately, we are looking for a part-time or full-time employee for our IT administration at our headquarters in Berlin.

Responsibilities

• Support for over 130 employees across five locations in Germany
• IT environment: Modern infrastructure with multiple VM clusters (over 230 VMs, Windows/Linux) connected to a SAN infrastructure
• Planning, deployment, operation, and maintenance of the IT infrastructure, IT services, and systems
• Ensuring smooth operation of the IT infrastructure and services
• Ensuring IT security
• Evaluation, configuration, and implementation of system extensions to cover new requirements
• Organization of IT purchasing as well as supplier and resource management

Qualifications

• Good degree in an IT-related field of study or comparable training
• Professional experience in system/network administration
• Technical knowledge in the following areas:
• Windows or Linux Server (Ubuntu)
• Web services (Apache, IIS)
• Mail services (MS Exchange, Postfix)
• IP in LAN and WAN, DHCP & DNS
• Network & System Management (Nagios, SNMP)
• Experience in virtualization (VMware)
