SITE INSPECTOR - Night Shifts

YOUR ROLE

We are looking for a Site Inspector for an important opportunity with one of our partner companies operating in the highway and major infrastructure works sector.

The resource will be involved in the control and supervision of construction site activities, with particular reference to work carried out predominantly during night hours.

Work location: Florence

Working hours: night shifts, typically from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitor and control the progress of site works, ensuring adherence to timelines and technical specifications.
• Verify the conformity of materials used and construction techniques with current standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and other figures involved in the project to ensure that works are carried out according to project specifications.
• Perform periodic inspections of the works and verify the correct execution of site activities.
• Prepare reports and documentation related to the progress of works, highlighting any anomalies, non-conformities, or critical issues.
• Support the verification of compliance with workplace health and safety regulations.
• Liaise with the various operational figures present on site and with stakeholders involved in the activities.
• Support the management of any technical problems that arise during the execution of the works.
• Perform activities predominantly on night shifts from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM, with possible weekend activities based on the work schedule.

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Building Engineering, Architecture or related fields; technical paths consistent with the role will also be considered.
• At least 3 years of experience in site activities or similar roles, preferably in road, highway, or infrastructure works.
• Good knowledge of the main operational dynamics of a construction site.
• Knowledge of applicable technical and safety regulations.
• Ability to read and understand technical and project documentation.
• Good interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license.
• Availability to work stably on night shifts, typically from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
• Availability for occasional weekend work and business travel, depending on project needs.

The expected salary for the role is between €30,000 and €35,000 gross annual salary.
