Responsibilities

• You will take on the role of Information Security Officer and specifically further develop the existing Information Security Management System (ISMS)
• You will support our ongoing ISO 27001 certification, manage the necessary measures for it, and ensure that the requirements of the standard are permanently anchored in the company
• You will advise management and specialist departments on risks and measures for information security and translate requirements into concrete measures for development, managed IT services, and business applications
• You will maintain and refine existing policies, processes, and security concepts, monitor their compliance, and coordinate risk analyses for internal systems and customer environments
• You will ensure that information security is anchored throughout the entire software development and operation process, e.g., through Secure Development Practices, hardening, and authorization concepts
• You will be the central point of contact for information security issues, support customer audits and ISO audits, and organize training and awareness measures for employees

Qualifications

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of practical experience in building, operating, or certifying an ISMS according to ISO 27001
• Ideally, additional knowledge of other standards and frameworks (e.g., BSI-Grundschutz, OWASP, NIST)
• Good understanding of IT infrastructures, networks, cloud environments, and software development processes
• Ideally, certifications in the field of information security (e.g., ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Lead Auditor, CISM, CISSP or similar)
• Knowledge of relevant legal frameworks, especially GDPR and requirements for contract processing
• Strong analytical thinking skills and the ability to communicate complex issues in an appropriate manner to the target audience
• High consulting and communication competence and the desire to actively drive information security within the company
