Our client is a renowned supplier of IT services to government institutions, multinational corporations, public administrations and multinational companies, research and academic institutes.

Role Overview

Our client currently has a vacancy for an IS Tester (Manual, Automation) fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the companys premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major clients IT team on site.

Requirements

• University degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 17 years of relevant working experience in IT;
• Minimum 5 years of specific expertise writing Test Cases and testing IT applications;
• Minimum 5 years of specific expertise with automated and manual functional testing;
• Minimum 3 years of specific expertise with SQL statements writing and SQL scripting for data validation and verification, used in test scenarios;
• Minimum 2 years of specific expertise with developing and executing automated test scripts for IT applications using test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cucumber or similar);
• Minimum 2 years of experience in scripting languages Python, Java or JavaScript for test automation and version control systems;
• Minimum 2 years of specific expertise with Jira and version control systems (e.g. Git);
• Minimum 1 year of specific expertise with Postman or SoapUI for automated API testing, including the development of scripts and validations for integration testing;
• Knowledge of Test Management and Defect tracking tools ;
• Excellent command of the English language.

• Construction of test scenarios and scripts for automated tests;

• Test coordination;
• Reporting of test results.
