Aufgaben

Simply: Network.

In detail:

• Planning, building, and operating our IP networks
• Routing & Switching (BGP, OSPF, VLANs, QoS – no buzzword bingo)
• Troubleshooting when it's knotty – structured, not hectic
• Optimizing instead of just keeping things running
• Implementing changes, not just talking about them
• Documented, so that it helps you later too

No ticket-jumping, no 1st-level nonsense.

Qualifikation

We're looking for no resume, but someone who understands networks.

You fit in well with us if:

• You have experience in IP/network engineering
• You know what you're doing when making routing decisions
• You analyze problems instead of just fixing symptoms
• You take responsibility and don't escalate everything
• You prefer to work cleanly rather than quickly building something shoddy

Nice, but not a must:

• Provider- or RZ-experience
• Cybersecurity know-how
