Ideal Candidate
We are looking for an IOS Developer for a rapidly growing insurtech startup in Romania, dedicated to digitalizing the insurance industry. You will work in a small and agile team where decisions are made quickly, and each member has a real impact on the product and user experience. The future of insurance is simple, digital, and customer-oriented – and we are looking for talented people who feel at home in a dynamic, hands-on environment where their work truly matters.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in iOS development, in an agile environment
- Tech studies (Computer Science or similar)
- Familiarity with the App Store publishing process
- Understanding of HTTP protocol, RESTful APIs, and GraphQL
- Solid knowledge about Apple's design guidelines and coding guidelines
- Understanding of application architectures and code patterns
- Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking
- Knowledge of Git and collaborative development practices
- Knowledge of design patterns, SOLID principles, and Clean Code
- Good written and spoken English
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Perseverance and orientation towards delivery
Job Description
You will contribute to the development and improvement of our iOS application, used daily by thousands of users for their insurance needs. You will have complete ownership over functionalities – from architecture decisions to implementation and launch. You will collaborate closely with the team to deliver quickly, iterate based on real feedback, and resolve complex challenges related to data management and user experience. Your code will directly influence how Romanians interact with insurance products.
