Head of Capital Formation — Senior (Structured Commodity Trade Finance) Full-time | Hybrid / Remote friendly | Reports to CEO About the company A fast-moving investment firm that provides structured financing solutions for short-term, self-liquidating commodity flows. They combine private-credit discipline with trade-finance mechanics to offer auditable, hedged exposure for institutional and high-net-worth investors. The role (what you’ll own) You will lead the capital-raising function end-to-end, from investor outreach and relationship-building to deal structuring and execution. This includes: • Developing and implementing a comprehensive fundraising strategy that aligns with the company’s growth objectives • Building and maintaining relationships with existing and prospective investors, including family offices, institutional investors, and high-net-worth individuals • Identifying and pursuing new investment opportunities that meet the company’s risk-return profile • Collaborating with the investment team to develop and present investment pitches to potential investors • Negotiating and structuring deals to ensure alignment with investor goals and the company’s objectives • Maintaining accurate records of investor interactions, deal progress, and financial performance. The ideal candidate will have: • 8+ years of experience in investor relations, fundraising, or a related field • Strong network of relationships with institutional investors, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals • Proven track record of successfully raising capital for companies or projects • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
