Your Role

As an Investment Associate or Investment Manager (m/f/d), you will play a central role in our award-winning asset management company. As part of the investment team, you will actively shape the management and further development of our investment solutions, with a particular focus on our private markets offerings. This includes both our closed-end umbrella funds for experienced investors and our ELTIFs for retail investors. Your contribution will have a direct impact on our company's success and will open up opportunities for you to drive innovation.

What exactly will you be doing?

Investment Expertise and Stakeholder Relationships:

  • Close collaboration with strategic partners and service providers in the construction, management, and reporting of our funds

  • Monitoring portfolio construction, conducting portfolio analyses, market screenings, and benchmarking

  • Central point of contact for investment-related inquiries from internal and external stakeholders in the Private Markets sector

Product Development and Project Management:

  • Active participation in the expansion of our product portfolio in the Private Markets sector

  • Shaping and implementing our AI strategy, particularly through the identification and automation of relevant processes

  • Management of and participation in diverse (sub-)projects with a focus on innovation and scaling

Operations, Reporting, and Communication:

  • Comprehensive responsibility for your products, including active involvement in shaping and monitoring operational processes

  • Responsibility for regular product and portfolio reporting together with our partners

  • Close, cross-functional collaboration with Tech, Product, Compliance, Operations, and Marketing

  • Support in developing communication concepts for end customers and external media

What you bring with you

Background:

  • At least two years of relevant professional experience for the Associate position / at least four years for the Manager position. Ideally in management consulting with a focus on financial service providers, in the investment team of an investment manager or advisor (e.g., family office, asset manager, PE/VC specialist), or in a comparable role in the financial sector

  • Successfully completed Master's degree from a leading university, ideally in Economics with a specialization in Finance, Management, or a quantitative field

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Sound understanding of macroeconomic contexts and the functioning of financial markets

  • Knowledge of the characteristics of different asset classes, particularly in the Private Markets sector

  • Experience in analyzing target funds and investment managers, as well as initial experience with ELTIFs, are advantageous

  • Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented approach to work and experience in managing and implementing projects

  • Initial practical experience with AI-supported processes and a strong interest in further developing them

  • Proactive identification and optimization of inefficient processes

  • Video interview with the Head of the Investment Team: In the second video call, you will meet the Head of the Investment Team. Together, we will examine whether your previous experience and expectations align with the requirements of the position, and delve into important technical aspects.

  • Case Study: A typical situation you might encounter in this role will be addressed.

  • In-person meeting: You will meet the rest of the team, peers, and internal stakeholders and discuss your Case Study results.
