Investment Analyst (Deep Tech, Quantum Computing)

Description: Paeonia Group is a Singapore-based family office and an investment holding company. It directly manages wholly-owned companies in the US and Asia with decades of operating history in global markets. Apart from its operating businesses, Paeonia Group invests globally through its investment arm, Paeonia Capital, across a diverse range of asset classes including equities, fixed income, hedge funds, real estate, venture capital/private equity funds and direct investments. The Deep-Tech team is looking for an Investment Analyst to support the investment activities in Quantum Computing and related Deep Tech sectors. This role will report to the Head of Deep Tech Investments. Responsibilities: * Conduct thorough research on specific Deep Tech sub-sectors with a focus on Quantum Computing, including market analysis, competitive landscape assessment, and technology evaluation. * Identify and evaluate potential investment opportunities in Quantum Computing and related Deep Tech companies. * Perform financial modeling and valuation analysis of potential investments. * Prepare investment memos and presentations for the Investment Committee. * Conduct due diligence on potential investments, including financial, technical, and operational aspects. * Monitor the performance of existing investments and provide ongoing support to portfolio companies. * Build and maintain relationships with industry experts, entrepreneurs, and other relevant stakeholders. * Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments in Quantum Computing and related Deep Tech sectors. Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, Finance, or a related field. * Minimum of 2 years of experience in investment analysis, venture capital, or a related field, with a focus on Deep Tech investments, preferably Quantum Computing. * Strong understanding of Quantum Computing technologies, applications, and market dynamics. * Solid financial modeling and valuation skills. * Excellent analytical, research, and communication skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. * Ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
