Inventory Specialist

Role Overview: The Inventory Controller is responsible for ensuring accurate inventory management at the Distribution Centre (DC). This role focuses on maintaining stock accuracy, tracking shelf life, ensuring FIFO compliance, proper storage of materials, and timely allocation to production. The position plays a critical role in minimizing stock loss, ensuring product quality, and enabling smooth production operations. Key Responsibilities: Ensure accuracy of opening and closing stock for all materials; verify inventory levels against purchase orders and sales orders; track and record shelf life of products; ensure FIFO compliance by rotating oldest stock first; store materials properly to prevent damage or deterioration; allocate materials timely to production lines; maintain accurate records of inventory movements; identify and report any discrepancies in inventory levels. The position plays a critical role in minimizing stock loss, ensuring product quality, and enabling smooth production operations.
