Inventory Manager

Hire Resolve's client is seeking the expertise of an Inventory Manager who will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of inventory management within the Mining Industry, specifically in the Cape Town region. This includes monitoring stock levels, coordinating the procurement and transportation of materials, implementing inventory control processes, and ensuring accurate and timely reporting of inventory data. Responsibilities: Develop and implement inventory management strategies and best practices to ensure optimal inventory levels are maintained. Coordinate with suppliers and logistics providers to procure and transport materials in a timely manner. Implement and maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records and reports. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to inventory management. Identify and mitigate risks associated with inventory management, including stockouts, overstocking, and obsolescence. Develop and implement processes for cycle counting, physical counts, and inventory reconciliations. Provide regular reporting and analysis of inventory performance metrics to stakeholders. Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination of inventory-related activities. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field. Minimum 3 years' experience in inventory management, preferably in the Mining Industry. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
