Inventory Leader

Who will you work with?

Our Materials team integrates a wide experience in manufacturing products for supply chain logistics for Wabtec. In our Arteaga plant, you will be responsible for contributing to the production of high-quality products for locomotives and mining products in a safe working environment where your safety is the top priority.

How will you make a difference?

As Inventory Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring the performance of inventory metrics and team members to achieve key business objectives, including but not limited to:

• Safety: Ensure a safe working environment for anyone, including on-site personnel.
• Quality: Drive product quality and completed work according to customer standards and expectations.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive improvements in equipment, processes, and performance following company policies/procedures.
• Inventory Assurance and Control:
  • Ensure inventory reliability +95% in STO, MFG, and FGI
  • Develop and apply strategies to ensure optimal inventory levels, ensuring a positive trend in Inventory Turnover metric
  • Ensure execution of cyclic counts in different sub-inventories
  • Analyze data and forecast future needs
  • Develop and apply procedures and technologies that help ensure inventory reliability and availability

• Career professional with a minimum of
• Prior work experience of at least 2 years in related areas: Materials, Inventories, planning, Lead Program
• English oral and written
• Experience in MRPs, desirable Oracle
• Leadership skills, teamwork, proactivity, and self-direction.
• Knowledge in inventory control

• Ensure the safe work of team members.
• Organize work teams based on needs and abilities.
• Manage and control MRP system
• Lead the team promoting skill development in an optimal working environment.
• Interact and manage multiple activities with all departments to achieve all activities and responsibilities mentioned.
• Daily assurance of department metrics
• The position reports to Materials Manager and indirectly reports to Warehouse Leader and Production Control Leader
