Job description

This is a large, well-established Australasian business supplying packaging solutions to retail, foodservice, and B2B manufacturing across New Zealand. The Kiwi operation is a key part of the supply chain — warehousing, distribution, and service.

The role
You’ll own inventory across Auckland and Christchurch warehouses. Hands-on, practical, and busy. Reach and counterbalance forklifts. Cycle counts. Stock reconciliations. Discrepancy investigations. Pallet and container transfers. Keep everything moving.
The manager is genuinely invested in his team. He backs them on the floor, and supports people to grow. The previous person in this role was promoted, put your hand up, and your effort will be noticed.
What you’ll be doing
• Managing daily inventory, cycle counts, and stock reconciliations
• Processing GRNs and R-Codes to keep stock accurate
• Organising daily pallet transfers and weekly container runs between Auckland and Christchurch
• Carrying out annual and ad-hoc stocktakes at 3PL warehouses
• Helping design and maintain pick-face layouts for efficient operations
• Investigating discrepancies and resolving issues quickly
• Keeping the warehouse running smoothly in a fast-paced environment
Who they’re looking for
• Warehouse or logistics experience with strong inventory exposure
• Counterbalance licence preferred (Reach forklift licence required)
• Thrives in a hands-on, fast-paced environment
• Practical, reliable, and safety-focused
• Comfortable with data — spotting issues and fixing them quickly
• Eager to learn, problem-solve, and step up
