Inventory Controller – Otahuhu Full-time | $70,000 (depending on experience) | Afternoon Shift (12 PM – 9 PM)

This is not your average inventory job.
We’re after a hands-on Inventory Controller who can keep stock tight, communication clear, and calm intact — even when the day turns into organised chaos.

The Role

Take ownership of cycle counts, stocktakes, and variance resolution — accuracy starts with you.
Communicate confidently with Customer Service, Business Services, and warehouse staff to keep operations flowing.
Manage multiple queries a day without losing track of priorities.
Respond diplomatically to requests — never “we’re busy,” but “here’s when I can get it done.”
Take initiative to fix issues before they escalate — not just hand problems off.
Stay proactive, organised, and ready to jump in when needed.
Be open to learning new things — including Dangerous Goods handling if not already certified.
Work the 12 PM – 9 PM shift, as part of a team moving toward a shift-based structure (6–3, 12–9).

What You’ll Bring

Proven inventory or warehouse control experience
Solid grasp of cycle counting and reconciliation
Excellent communication — written and verbal
Composure under pressure and smart prioritisation
Good Excel and WMS skills
Self-starter mindset — learns quickly, acts decisively
DG experience helpful but not essential
