As an Inventory Buyer, dedicated to supporting multiple warehouses in our network, you will own procurement responsibilities including purchasing, forecasting, inventory management, purchase order management and vendor management of 3rd party service providers. You will provide procurement insights and align with the building leadership team as well as local sales teams to drive efficiencies and improvements at the site(s). This is a remote position with minimal travel; and ideal candidates will be based in Texas.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• In partnership with the Procurement Operations Manager, provide procurement operations support including: purchasing of inventory products, inventory management, non-inventory flow and space models, cycle counts, supplier management, procurement transaction and expediting support
• Develop deep knowledge of inventory management systems and processes to optimize warehouse operations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and efficiencies in procurement and logistics
• Manage and maintain accurate records of inventory, purchases, and vendor performance
• Develop strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to negotiate pricing and terms
• Provide procurement insights and recommendations to drive business decisions

This is a remote position with minimal travel; and ideal candidates will be based in Texas.
